The Australian Golf Club

Founded in 1882 and settled at its current Rosebery site since 1903, The Australian is one of the oldest golf clubs in the country and has hosted 22 Australian Open championships. Jack Nicklaus redesigned the course between 1977 and 1980 and returned for a further renovation in 2013. The club's official guest policy confirms that interstate or overseas residents affiliated with a recognised golf club or association may arrange play through the General Manager, using a dedicated online enquiry form for international or interstate visitors.
