Phuket Country Club, designed by Dr. Sukitti Klangvisai and opened in 1989, was the island's first championship-standard 18-hole course, built over a reclaimed tin mine in Kathu. It's regularly cited as one of Phuket's most affordable full-length rounds and remains a local favourite alongside the newer resort-branded courses nearby.
