Red Mountain Golf Club opened in 2007 on a former tin-mine site in Kathu, in the geographic center of Phuket. Designers Jon Morrow and Al Tikkanen routed the 6,900-yard, par-72 layout through dramatic elevation changes and exposed red laterite cliffs left behind by decades of mining, producing one of the most photographed courses in Thailand — the par-3 signature hole plays across a quarry lake toward a rock-walled green.
