Designed by Ernie Els as a "desert links" course at Dubai Sports City, stretching 7,538 yards from the back tees across four tee options. The layout borrows design cues from classic international courses — bunkering reminiscent of Royal Melbourne and greens in the style of Pinehurst No. 2 — set among wide, rolling fairways and native desert grasses. It won Links Golf Magazine's "Best New International Course" honors in 2008.
