Emirates Golf Club — Majlis Course

Al Garhoud area near Sheikh Zayed Road, Dubai, UAE

Dubai

The Majlis Course was the Middle East's first grass course when Emirates Golf Club opened in 1988, designed by American architect Karl Litten and built around the club's distinctive Bedouin-tent-shaped clubhouse. A par-72 desert-parkland layout of 7,301 yards, it has been the long-running home of the DP World Tour Championship (formerly the Dubai Desert Classic), and its closing holes framed by the clubhouse silhouette are among the most photographed in world golf.
