Designed by Sir Henry Cotton and opened in 1968, the Ocean Course is the more testing of Vale do Lobo's two 18-hole layouts at par 73. Its signature stretch runs along the Atlantic cliff edge, including a celebrated par-3 played over a beach ravine, giving the course its reputation as one of the most photographed holes on the Algarve coast.
