Hua Hin
Royal Hua Hin Golf Course
Hua Hin, Prachuap Khiri Khan, Thailand — beside Hua Hin Railway Station, in the town center
Hua HinThailand's oldest 18-hole international-standard golf course, commissioned in 1919–1924 to serve British railway workers and Thai aristocracy and designed by Scottish railway engineer A.O. Robin; King Rama VI officially inaugurated the first nine in 1924, and King Rama VII's additional nine was completed in 1928. The course preserves its original landscape — large mature trees, not water, are the primary hazards — and sits right beside Hua Hin Railway Station in the town center, a five-minute walk from downtown.
